Last weekend we did some transplanting and some newplanting. This weekend, I think, we are going to make some raised beds to begin our foray into growing some vegetables. Seeing your starts is encouraging. http://www.thissortaoldlife.com/2013/04/22/6-ways-to-undesign-your-garden/Ritahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04227597091783239454noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6743921172715592593.post-43323947391749016612013-04-25T15:44:28.044-03:002013-04-25T15:44:28.044-03:00Look at those seedlings! New Mexico is one of my favorite places in the world. I am so thrilled for your new adventure and can't wait to catch up with you here. I truly hate the use of herbicides in yards. It is so very prevalent here. Our new home will have to have boxes until we rehab the soil. Oh, and I love Elizabeth Mitchell - perhaps more than my children. We saw her family in concert last year in Virginia. Thinking I would rather put more $ into building up the soil that is here (in the two rather large brick garden boxes) than expand with the need to bring in a ton of soil/compost! Just going to have to settle for smaller this year. Hard!
They did do well in the egg shells. It is a nice way to get them started and see who is going to germinate, etc... And they look super adorable ;-)Dawn Suzettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09483805832809961369noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6743921172715592593.post-88335641163155614612013-04-25T09:25:28.960-03:002013-04-25T09:25:28.960-03:00I just looked up images of Vessey's on google....I just looked up images of Vessey's on google... Last night was Puccini and belly dancing music mixed with electronica. Strange but beautiful.

Could you do a raised bed on top of plastic in that area of the garden? We went last summer, I didn't have my camera with me but it was beautiful. We'll go again this year.
Going to link up later today :)
lhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07754586762141365467noreply@blogger.com
