Finally a Lizard...
We did some exploring at a local lake last weekend. The kids were beyond excitied to finally see... and catch... a lizard!
We posted some of our other finds on the Nature Notebook. If you know anything about Southwest plant life we sure could use some help with identificaiton.
If you just want to get a glimps of Northern New Mexico lakeshore in early spring head on over to check out our nature walk.
Have a great Tuesday!

A little reminder: Thurday I am going to post another Make & Listen Along post. I would love to hear about what you have been making as you listen along with your favorite tunes of the moment. It has already been so fun to talk making and music. Do a post of your own to link up or just come over to share in the comments!

Huzzah! A lizard is a fantastic catch. My 9yr old prides himself on his lizard catching skills.
ReplyDeleteSounds like my 9yr old and yours would get along grand. She has honed her snake catching skills in the land of no venomous snakes... now appling her prowess to lizards.
DeleteMy little man is loving that lizard :) How exciting!
ReplyDeleteCute! I totally forgot that they had not seen a lizard in the wild... No lizards in that far north county!
