We were just talking boy doll clothes! The quilt shop down town had some of the cutest fabric for boys! (Which can be so hard to find) I got some fat quarters to make my boy a pencil case for his birthday. But I will be back for more to make some clothes for a doll I am working on too! What does he like best? I got frogs, fun wonky colorful stripes, jungle animals, bees... I could always take some pics of them and send you what you need if you liked one!
I do have an amazing mama! :-) I feel very lucky too! How fun to learn the new crafty terminology. You would get something completely different if you went into Jo-Ann's and asked for a coupon here.
Yes. I agree. I think that is why she looked through her button stash before she came. I was complaining about in-store button selection! I might just have to find a few shops online that I can order from. I know they are out there...
What delight! These are beautiful! and it so wonderful to see a mother shower her daughter with such loveliness! Happy Monday!xo
ReplyDeleteShe always finds the neatest little things!
DeleteHappy Monday to you too! Hope it is a great start to the week!
Best kind of present! Right now, I'm hankering for a tiny scrap of perfect fabric to make my wee man's wee doll some more summer appropriate clothing.

ReplyDeleteI learned the other day that a fat quarter is called a coupon in French.

What lovely buttons! Think of all the possibilities :)
ReplyDeleteOooh - favourite crafty supplies...luscious yarn, journals with lovely paper, moleskines and fountain pens – I love stationery!
Yes to the possibilities!
DeleteI would have to say paper is a second love; coming right behind fabric with yarn in a very close third.
Fun!
Buttons are precious to me, it seems they are harder to find in stores and when I do they're basic and boring.

Buttons and cool paper would top my list. Oh and scraps of interesting fabric. Just not too much as I have a bit of a problem on my own!
ReplyDeletedefinitely a stack of linen would thrill me to bits. or big bags of wool.
