Fall on the Colorado Trail

We had two amazing fall hikes last weekend. The Colorado Trail was full of color and even a bit of snow for snowball fights along the trail, much to the delight of the snow loving little man!

We even collected a few colorful fall leaves to press for a fun little nature exchange!

Our other hike is highlighted over here.

Fall is in full swing around these parts!

  2. I do love seeing how different parts of the country display fall. We have lots of white and black oak trees and multiple maple trees (mostly sugar). Dogwood, sassafras, tulip, cigar, many birches. Love the stream (river?) shots :)

  4. That gambel oak is too beautiful. I love that we can find red leaves here. Who needs to go all the way to Vermont?!
