Lovin' Right Now

After such a long time away I figured the best way to jump back into computer land and share a taste of what has been going on round these parts is with a lovin' list. Hopefully it will give you a taste of our new world for now... more details about our move will come soon.

So hear goes.

Right now I am lovin'...

each high desert sunrise

a double sink in the kitchen
little hands beside me gently helping bubbles wash away
a room for each little person

delight and occupation in their very own space
the view out the huge expanse of windows in the living room

the humidifier my sister-in-law sent for Christmas
little hands in love with the cool steam

a sewing room/studio/laundry room
piles of fabric waiting patiently to fulfill their potential

a closet for art supplies and the little hands that use them

closets in the bedroom - we had none before
yes... I am just lovin' closets

expansive flocks of geese flying along the bluffs
deer forging in the field below

river walks
ruins sharing of times long ago

vistas that go on and on
a mop that actually dries when put outside to dry
cottonwood trees
people who love living here
homemade curtain projects

books filled with possibilities
friends checking in
family coming to visit
bald eagles
new-to-us birds & lots of bird watching

guild books all around the house... being referred to often
dry dirt
local coffee
cowgirl boots for the little lady

family baseball
fires in the wood stove
a porch swing

cooking with a gas stove top... yes, every bit as wonderful as I remember

milk paint
dusting snow

and oh. so. much. more.

While I sew and paint and steal away a few moments for reading I am also lovin'...
