Alphabet Glue Summer Science Special

When Annie asked me to join her in creating this years Summer Science Special for Alphabet Glue I was  happy to jump in and help out. She was after all graduating a husband from medical school, packing up to move to the big city, and gearing up for the trails of a hubby in his rookie year of residency... along with nurturing her two awesome little people. We have collaborated in the past so I knew that along with helping her out in this crazy busy time of life, it would also be a whole lot of fun. And it was!

The kiddos and I had a great time testing out project ideas and combing the library stacks looking for books that would make the cut for the awesome book lists included in every Alphabet Glue. Early on it became very clear that Annie is truly a master at the art of creating a compelling book list. It is much harder than one might think to pull together a list of amazing books on any given topic! And there are some really wonderful books for all readers in this special issue.

From quick fire starters to quirky quicksand, exploding volcanos to balloons that inflate in the most amazing way, this Summer Science Special it is filled with fun and just the right dose of excitement!

Annie is also offering last years Summer Science Special in a bundle with this current issue so if you missed out you can get double the fun and exciting summer science!

It was wonderful to help out and get a super neat behind the scenes look at how Alphabet Glue comes together. Annie is a sweet, gracious and every so funny friend and I am lucky to call her such!

So pop on over and check out the 2013 Alphabet Glue Summer Science Special for yourself. Whether you are looking to cure cabin fever while hiding out from the summer heat or preparing for a day with the grand kids you are in for some good summertime fun!
