Happy Valentine's Day!
Just a few hearts I found in my files. I love finding hearts in nature. It is always a treat!
Thanks for all of your kind and supportive words for yesterdays post. It is always nice to share big and life changing news, and have it be met with love and support!
A few other things...
- Amelia over at Tales of a Mountain Mama is starting a new series and she is featuring our little family in the first post of the series... well, at least a part of our family that I rarely talk about on the web. I am a bit nervous but also feel like it is for a very good cause: encouraging families with challenges to get outside!
She is looking for other families that face challenges to getting outdoors to share in the series. If you have special needs at your home and would like to share please contact her.
- Shelli is offering up a free digital subscription to a new homeschool magazine called, Home | School | Life. It is looking to be an awesome new mag! I will share more about it soon.
I thought I had more to share but I guess this is all my brain is processing at the moment.
This weekend holds the last push for cleaning out (and our second ever yard sale - the first one was in California just before the last time we moved to Nova Scotia!). Then the packing will officially begin! Yay!
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
I love finding hearts in nature too :) Happy Valentine's Day.
ReplyDeleteIt is so fun! Thanks, Kim!
DeleteI like how many patterns you find in nature. If you ever decided to print up a blurb book let me know I want to buy one! :)
ReplyDeleteAwww. Thanks, KC! I will let you know! ;-)
DeleteSometimes I think I need to slow down and look around more often when I am outside with the camera. I am always looking for critters but there is so much more to see...Love your hearts.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Wendy.
DeleteI love to focus on the little details.
I do love your critter shots!
I read the article at the Tales of a Mountain Mama the other day and really appreciated it. I wish I had known more when my son was younger, he had similar traits for sure. It wasn't always easy, but I went along and tried to understand him as we learned together.
ReplyDeleteI left a comment on the Shelli's blog too. I think the magazine will be great and I told her I would be willing to write about it too!
The hearts are gorgeous, the ice one is just amazing, my favourite.
Thank you, Alex.
DeleteThere has been so much more research and information about SPD come out just within the last few years. It is amazing how many families are dealing with these issues.
Um, I LOVE these!! I would buy a set of these if you turned them into notecards!!! Love! Love, Love!
ReplyDeleteAwww! Thanks, Summer! I will be sure to let you know if they ever become a set of cards. Printing photo cards is on my list! ;-)
