Saturday the sunrise was stunning. After I recovered from all of that beauty I gathered myself to make breakfast and start our clean-out day... and we got a lot done. The thrift shop benefited from our lack of desire to hold a yard sale. (Kinda happy about that.) And the first few boxes were packed. Yay!
Sunday morning sunrise tried really hard to beat out the beauty of Saturday morning. It did come pretty close!
We went for a farewell hike on one of our favorite trails; the Junction Creek section of the Colorado Trail. Now get this... every time we hike there I look for heart rocks along the creek. The rocks there are so cool and in the last year I have found one heart rock there. Yesterday I found all of these:
And there were more! But I just had to stop the madness and could not slow down to snap more and more photos of rock hearts. I did pocket that green one because I just could not resist it's perfection!
More photos of the Colorado Trail can be found over on Imagine Childhood today! It is always fun to be featured over there!
Wishing you all a lovely start to the week!

ReplyDeleteAww! That is sweet, Lori! I *heart* that! ;-)
Deletea sign from the universe! i would have pocketed that green one, too :)
ReplyDeleteI love heart rocks, I have a secret little collection I hide from my little man :)
ReplyDeleteI heart your heart rocks :) amazing what you see when you focus and look!
ReplyDeleteI love that last pink heart! What fun pictures!
ReplyDeleteColorado is sending you love! :) New Mexico sun rises and sun sets are the best in the world I think.
ReplyDeleteWhile I did witness some pretty amazing sun rise/sets in NS, I would have to agree that NM consistently puts on a stunning display in this big sky!
DeleteLove that first photo!
ReplyDeleteAnd all your heart's are so beautiful!!
Nice to see all of the heart rock love... And that I am not the only one who would have pocketed that green one!
ReplyDeleteI think, after seeing so many of your sunrise/sunset pictures of the view from your back yard that New Mexico just may have nice ones that Nova Scotia! I guess it all depends on where you are situated when the sun comes up. This year, for summer solstice, I want to go out to Lawrencetown to greet the sun!
ReplyDeleteLove the heart rocks but have to say I have never found one myself. I think I may be on the lookout now. That's all we need .... more rocks in the house! :)
Yes! I does depend on where you are!
DeleteIt is true rock love! Now you will find one!
happy moving to you! xo~
ReplyDeleteThank you, Stephinie!
